Reflections on My First (Real) Ruby on Rails App
Submitted by David on January 13, 2012 - 4:09pmI have completed my first real Ruby on Rails app and it's in production. The app answers a problem I have at work: individuals ask me to format newsletter templates all the time and it breaks up my day too often. It's called Newsletter Maker.
The Wikipedia "love" button should implement a downrate option as well
Submitted by David on June 25, 2011 - 1:26amReadwriteweb made a post about Wikipedia launching the "Wikilove" button that lets users show appreciation for each other. Apparently Wikipedia is trying to ride the wave of button popularity, what with Google launching their +1 button recently and the Facebook/Twitter buttons being featured on most websites around the Internet.

Submitted by David on October 19, 2010 - 3:05pmThe web is becoming more socially bloated (sorry, more socially rich) every day. One thing that's handy is only needing to post your updates in one location rather than 3-5. How is this accomplished? You'll need a few tools to begin with.
