Dom_canalzone is one of the most unique TF2 maps out there.  With 8 points and lots of fast-paced action, there are a huge number of strategies that can be used on the map.  Some are effective, some are not.  Players got to try those strategies out in July when dom_canalzone was played in UGC's Highlander summer league.  At this point, dom_canalzone is four years old.  That's getting pretty crusty for a TF2 map.  I was pleased the map finally got some widespread attention and embarked on a mission to totally redo it at the standards of today's TF2 maps.

I think it has been a success. As of today, the beta 1 version of "Canalzone2" is out.  There are even more visual improvements planned.  It also needs some testing to get any latent bugs identified.  Please click here to go to the dom_canalzone2 download page and give it a shot!
